Local Insight Tool
Our new Local Insight Tool, powered by OCSI Local Insight mapping, enables users to view our data at various geographies. In addition, users can also map dozens of other open data sources, providing insight into a wide range of socio-economic and demographic data down to the neighbourhood scale. Reports summarising the socio-economics of various local areas can also be freely downloaded.
With these local data sources in combination, we believe that the tool can empower users to better understand their local areas. If you have any queries about the data available, please visit the ‘More Info’ section within the tool, or for help navigating the tool itself, please see the user guide.
If you have any questions, feedback or ideas for what data to include, please email us at firstname.lastname@example.org
Active Lives Online
Local users can explore the Active Lives Adult Survey data at a local level by using our Active Lives Online tool.
By clicking on the 'Locations' button on the homepage, users are able to specify individual regions, counties, Active Partnerships, and local authorities before selecting Active Lives metrics such as levels of activity, inactivity levels, sports participation or volunteering.
Local level data can also be split for (up to one) demographic groups such as gender and age. If you have any questions about the tool, please email us at email@example.com
Small Area Estimates
Using our Active Lives Survey data, we have produced small area estimates for the 6,791 Middle Super Output Areas (MSOAs) in England. The data provides an insight into how participation varies within a local authority.
